Broker Participant Membership

Licensed Real Estate Brokers in the state of Virginia and contiguous states are eligible for membership, provided they are actively engaged in brokerage activities as defined in § 54.1-2100 of the code of Virginia. Entities whose sole or primary business is the referral of listings, or sales or distribution of REIN information to other entities, are not eligible for membership in REIN.

Broker Membership Service includes:

  • Access to MLS Database
  • Access to All Contracts, Addenda, and Forms
  • One Property Photo Supplied by REIN Photographers
  • Listing Input Capabilities
  • Training on MLS Systems
  • Leased Keybox Services
  • Online Account Management

REIN's Photo Service Areas:

  • Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Smithfield, Franklin, Windsor, Hampton, Newport News, Poquoson, Yorktown, Williamsburg, Gloucester
  • Counties of Isle of Wight, Southampton, Surry, Sussex, York and James City

All Licensed Real Estate Brokers interested in REIN Membership should complete the following steps:
  1. Obtain a Broker Participant Membership application and related documents by completing the Pre-Application Form.
  2. Submit the completed application, license agreement, and ID assignment form along with payment of $1,844.50 (payment must be in the form of a cashiers check) to cover the following:
  • $250 Non-refundable Application fee
  • $1,500 Non-refundable Participant fee
  • $94.50 Quarterly fee for Principal Broker

All applications are subject to review by REIN’s Board of Directors after administrative processing, which will take up to 10 business days and will commence upon receipt of all applicable forms and fees by REIN’s Virginia Beach office.
